Mission Statement - The importance of and need for Career and Technical education grows as the American workplace becomes increasingly global. The Kaufman ISD Career and Technical Education Program allow students to get experience and training in a variety of skills and careers. Career and Technical Education also presents students with the opportunity to learn and practice critical thinking, problem-solving, team building, and leadership. In an increasingly competitive job market, Kaufman ISD's Career and Technical programs can provide the pathway needed for future success. Our programs of study allow students to achieve excellence by preparing them for college opportunities, career preparation, and meaningful work experiences. A goal of the KISD CTE Department is to graduate students with the necessary tools to prepare for high demand, high wage and high skilled occupations and knowledge for college work and the workforce.
